Audacity for reading homework

A really effective way to get your child to read is to use this: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Download it to your computer. It is free. The children are familiar with it because we have it on the classroom computers. They read their reading book recording onto Audacity. Save it onto your computer and then you have a wonderful record of their reading that you keep and listen to whenever you like!
