Ice Skating and Snowfarm
Ice Skating - Tuesday, 1st September.
Let's hope the weather will be kind to us and let us go this time to the Snowfarm on Wednesday, 2nd September.
Remember to check the gear list.
The bus leaves at 8am and will not wait so make sure you are at school between 7.30-7.55.
Listen to the radio for a cancellation.

What to do instead of playing internet games!
The children have noticed that I have been blocking through our internet filter the internet games. Here are some suggestions of what to do instead of playing on the internet games from the QPS Tecki Experts:
Z Drive inschool network resources.
Art Rage - create some individual art on the computer.
Pivot stick man - Create your own animations: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/stickfigure.html
Storybook Weaver - make creative story books. On school computers.
Games on the computer - Programes - Games
Comic Life - http://plasq.com/comiclife-win - PC Windows version. (Free on Mac computers)
Alice - http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=downloads/download_alice
Alice is an innovative 3D programming environment that makes it easy to create an animation for telling a story, playing an interactive game, or a video.

I am sure there are more things you can do instead of playing an internet game. Be creative and make some suggestions. Go on!

Week 5
Snow Farm on Tuesday!!! Don't forget. A notice went home yesterday. You need to be at school by 7.55am for a gear check. The bus leaves at 8am. It is a big day so ask Mum and Dad to pack you a big lunch.

About My Cute Cat
My cat is called Loodya but for short we call her Loolu.She goes very crazy and jumpes up at the curtains.My mum goes crazy at my cat when she is on the bench.I like my cat because she comes on my bed basicly every night.My cat is crazy,cute and fluffy.

Ice skating was so much fun. I zoomed around the ice like a rocket ship. My mum said she was cold standing there watching us. She should have come on the ice as well.

ICE SKATING lucy
hello room23 ice skating was really,really fun!!! First we put our ice skates on then we put our gloves after that we put our helmet on - click - then finally we got on the ice, yippy - i went as fast as a fish in the sea. I'm sure you did to!!!

Wicked Week 3!
Where are the weeks going!
It is wonderful to see your postings beginning to appear. What computer whizzes! Now that you have had a go at adding a post I want to get you to start adding posts about the learning that has happened during the week each Friday and to also add a goal for the class for the next week using the Key Compentancy, 'Thinking'. Who would like to start by adding a report about what we did this week? Go on, challenge yourselves!

Thinking Competency
We had fun making a movie today. We had to make it on the digital camera because there was something wrong with the video cameras. Technology!

My Brother
Today when we were up at Coronet sking, my little brother Lucas lost his first tooth... He was pretty excited and very lucky, because he still managed to find it in the snow!!! I wonder how much money he will get from the Tooth Fairy tonight and if he will give me some of it?
